A special one-night collaboration comes to The Stag Inn on Wednesday 15th July.

We're delighted to be teaming up with our village neighbours Castle Chocolates for the launch of their brand-new chocolate collection, alongside carefully selected wine pairings from Majestic Wine and a bespoke menu from Dan's kitchen.

Expect hot coals, bold flavours, handcrafted chocolates and expertly matched wines as we explore how food, wine and chocolate can work together in surprising and delicious ways.

Featuring new Castle Chocolates creations including:

🍪 Tea & Biscuits
🍓 Strawberry Daiquiri
🍊 Smoked Marmalade
🥜 Pistachio Crunch
🥥 Coconut
🍰 Jammie Tea Cake

Alongside dishes including Tandoori Monkfish cooked over hot coals, Salt Aged Duck and Baked Cheese Clafouties.

The Stag National

The Stag National is our very own village take on the Grand National — a fun, hobby horse race day in Low Crosby filled with fancy dress, themed jumps, and plenty of community spirit. Open to all ages, it’s a day of laughter, friendly competition and coming together, all in support of our charity partners, Oak Tree Animals’ Charity and Eden Valley Hospice. Expect great atmosphere, fundraising, food and drinks from The Stag, and a memorable event for the whole village to enjoy.
