‘The Year That Was’ - Charity Quiz

After just how busy this was last year, The Big Fat The Year That Was Charity Quiz is back.

We’ll be looking back over the weird, wonderful, memorable and “did that really happen this year?” moments of 2026.

Expect questions covering the year’s news, entertainment, sport, music, people, pictures and plenty of things you’d completely forgotten happened.

Spots fill up fast, so get your team together and register now! What better way to break up the week than a good old-fashioned pub quiz at your favourite local?

There will be food available as part of a pre-booked ticket. We’re still finalising exactly what Dan will be serving — something relaxed and perfect for quiz night, along the lines of a great curry or chilli — and we’ll confirm the details and ticket price shortly.

Most importantly, it will once again be a charity quiz, so we can finish 2026 by raising a few quid for a good cause while having a very good night in the process.

Last year was extremely busy, so this is definitely one to book early rather than deciding at 5pm on New Year’s Eve!
